If you’ve called or stopped into our insurance agency, you may have been assisted by Annie DaRos. Annie helps our insurance agency function efficiently, because without her calls and other inquiries would not get to the right agent in a timely manner. Similar to our team member, Tamara, Annie is responsible for assisting our clients who call or stop in and ensures they receive the answers they need.
She’s been with us for quite some time, however, we wanted to know Annie outside of the insurance agency. So, we sat down with her and asked her a few questions:
Who is Annie outside of Paradiso Insurance?
Outside of Paradiso Insurance I consider myself a homemaker.
What do you like to do with your free time in the evenings and/or on weekends?
On the weekends and during my free time, I enjoy playing computer games, watching the Hallmark Channel, and going to the movies with my two best friends.
What is your favorite quote?
“It is, what it is.” Sometimes you can’t control everything life hands you and have to accept it. I keep that quote hanging in my kitchen.
What is your biggest fear?
I have a fear of the dark, but not just an irrational fear. In fact, I actually can’t see in the dark and cannot drive anywhere when night falls.
What was your most recent vacation spot, and any activities you enjoyed while away?
My most recent vacation was in Wells, Maine. It’s a beautiful little place that I stayed with my friends at. We went to the beach every day we were there.
Can you tell me a little bit about your family/home life? Pets? Kids? Etc.
I have a big, loving family that I also consider my best friends. I have my son and his wonderful wife, my amazing grandson, my husband, my big cat named Benny, and my own in-laws who I greatly appreciate.
How has life for you changed since you started working for Paradiso Insurance?
My life has been a lot more secure because I wasn’t ready to retire and stay home all the time. I’m very happy here.
What are your skills and what can you help our customers with when they stop in?
I have excellent customer service skills, in fact I’ve been in customer service for over 40 years, so I’d say it’s my calling. I really like people too and making them understand their concerns are of utmost priority.
