We at Paradiso Insurance strive to promote and help as many organizations and charities as we can. We truly feel that charity and community are what foster strong citizens and improve the overall common good. Last week we introduced to you an organization that is very near and dear to our hearts, called Journey Found.
Journey Found provides supports and services to adults with intellectual and other developmental disabilities that focus on individual independence, personal growth and capacity building. Supports may be provided in the community or at home, individualized or in group settings. Supports may be around the clock or just a few hours a week.
A team approach involving the person supported, their family, Journey Found staff and other involved parties guides all aspects of the work. The internal Journey Found team includes expertise in applied behavioral analysis, psychiatry, nursing, day and residential supports and individualized service delivery in the field of intellectual disabilities and autism.
