If you have stopped into our insurance agency recently, you may have ran into Stephen Duzsa, one of our newest insurance professionals here at Paradiso Insurance.
Stephen is an insurance specialist of all trades at our insurance agency, and is learning the ropes in our personal lines, commercial lines, and FedEx department. This way Stephen can help any of our customers and assist them with any of their needs.
Stephen just joined our team not that long ago, so we thought it would be appropriate to get to know him a bit better by finding out about who Stephen is outside of Paradiso Insurance.
What is your favorite quote?
My favorite quote is, “Make the present good, and the past will take care of itself,” by Knute Rockne.
Who is Stephen outside of Paradiso Insurance?
Outside of Paradiso Insurance, I’m heavily involved in my community through sports and youth development. I’m also very close with my family and friends, and make sure to always make time for them.
What do you like to do with your free time in the evenings and/or on weekends?
In my free time, I’m big on volunteering and helping out within the community. I volunteer with many of the youth sports in town. I also work at the dance studio right here on Main Street in Stafford Springs. I believe that our youth is the future and I want the kids in town to have activities they can turn to. This helps to keep kids out of trouble and is the foundation for them to become positive members of society.
What is your favorite joke?
My favorite joke is a bit of a “dad joke,” but it goes like this:

Put a little boogie in it!
What are your favorite hobbies and/or past times?
My favorite hobbies include playing sports, particularly basketball. I also like dancing, and playing cards with my friends.
Your most recent vacation spot, and any activities you enjoyed while away?
My most recent vacation spot was when I went to Cancun in May with my friends. We were at a resort, it was all inclusive, and was a great experience!
Can you tell me a little bit about your family/home life? Pets? Kids? Etc.
At home it’s just me, myself, and I. I would love own a dog, but I’m not home enough to properly take care of one right now.
How has life for you changed since you started working at Paradiso Insurance?
My life has changed greatly, because it’s a pleasure working for a company that cares so much about the community, employees, and its customers. I feel like I’m a part of a family here.
What are your skills, and what can you help our customers with when they stop in?
Well, I’m very easy to talk to. I feel that I can make our customers feel comfortable. I try to always have a fulfilling conversation with any of our customers. I like to build relationships with them, because they’re more than just a number to me.
