Business Hosted Events
One neat attraction that is located right downtown here in Stafford, is the Palace Theater! Here they will be holding numerous events throughout March and April and will even carry onto the following months!
Join Graziano Gardens up in East Longmeadow, MA on Saturday, March 28th starting at 11 AM ending at 3 PM for a special garden party celebration. You’ll get to plant your own flowers right at the greenhouses and watch them grow over time. Make sure to register ahead of time to secure your spot!
Art Classes at the Inspiration Station
Our friends at the Inspiration Station always invite the public to join their events in Stafford Springs, CT. This month they’re hosting a few wonderful art classes. On March 14th from 10 AM to 12 PM, you’ll get the chance to create your very own art journal. Afterward, you’ll have the opportunity to create zentangle inspired watercolor sunflowers from 1 PM to 4 PM. Be sure to make sure to register for these classes in advance!
Girl Scout Cookie Sale
If you would like to support our local Girl Scout Troops, you can visit them on March 14th from 9 AM to 2 PM in front of the Stafford Tractor Supply. Whether you like thin mints, samoas, or other flavors, don’t miss a chance to grab some of your favorite cookies with a cause that counts.
Community Events
Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Paradiso Insurance will be hosting our annual Easter Egg Hunt this year on April 4th, where there will be plenty of activities ranging from inflatable bounce houses to a backyard barbeque and of course ending with popcorn or cotton candy. If you’d like to help volunteer stuffing eggs, we will be doing that at the Senior Center located at 3 Buckley Highway, on March 22nd.
This event isn’t directly near Stafford Springs, but it’s close by! Take a ride up to Chicopee, Massachusetts on Saturday, March 14th for Irish Family Night at the Chicopee Lodge of Elks. Irish Family Night is fun for the whole family and includes food, dancing, music, and entertainment from 6 PM to midnight.
Stafford Motor Speedway Events
Stafford Springs is lucky enough to have a speedway right in our backyard! Stafford Motor Speedway is hosting its annual automotive swap meet on April 5th! Following the swap meet a few weeks later is their annual NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler on April 24th to 26th!
