If you love being a host, you know that making sure your guests leave safely is very important. There is nothing worse than knowing a friend or family member has had a little too much to drink as they are getting ready to leave. Luckily, there is a way to avoid this all together, and still have a great holiday celebration! We have gathered up 3 delicious non-alcoholic holiday drinks for you and your guests to enjoy!
Virgin Peppermint-Eggnog Punch
Keep the flavor of the holidays in the mix with this spin on egg nog!
What you’ll need:
1 quart peppermint ice cream
1 quart eggnog
1 10 oz bottle ginger ale, chilled
Peppermint sticks (optional)
What to do:
- Place ice cream in a large chilled bowl, stir until softened. Then, gradually stir in eggnog.
- Transfer these ingredients to a punch bowl, and add ginger ale until you reach desired consistency.
- Top each serving with peppermint sticks
*This recipe makes 18 servings (4 oz per serving)
Feature cranberries on more than just your holiday decor this holiday season by making them part of your special beverage!
What you’ll need:
5 cups apple cider or apple juice
5 cups cranberry juice
1 ½ cups guava juice or mango
¼ cup lime juice
1 tsp ground ginger
½ tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp ground allspice
Honey (optional)
Lime slices (optional)
What to do:
- Combine apple cider, cranberry juice, guava juice, lime juice, ginger, cinnamon, and allspice into a 4 quart dutch oven. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes stirring occasionally. If desired, sweeten to taste with honey.
- Serve with a ladle into mugs and garnish with lime slices if desired.
You will have your guests fooled with this martini look alike! No wonder it’s called a “mocktail”!
What you’ll need:
Ice
1 oz lime juice
1 oz pineapple juice
2 oz white grape juice
Fresh mint leaves
Fresh blueberries
3 oz Sierra Mist Natural
What to do:
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, lime juice and pineapple juice. Mix.
- Add white grape juice, mint and blueberries. Using the back of a spoon, crush a couple of the blueberries.
- Shake all ingredients well and strain into a large glass filled with ice.
- Top with Sierra Mist Natural and garnish a few fresh blueberries (optional).
