Last week we had the opportunity to check out one of the best barber shops in town, Matty’s Barber Shop. Located right on River Road or better known as “Route 32” in Stafford Springs, Matty’s Barber Shop offers quick, clean, and convenient haircuts for anyone looking to add a bit of flair to their routine. Matty’s shop was also renovated from the original B.P. Cooley Mill when it was in operation. Matty’s offers cuts and styles for both men and women, and they specialize in hair treatments for different ethnicities. Walk-ins are welcome at Matty’s, and this barber shop offers a variety of special services such as, facial waxing, hot lather shaves, coloring, and highlights.
Additionally, Matty himself specializes in flat top haircuts (the best by far in Stafford), while his assistant Elisha is geared around creating shaved designs.
